A young boy finds peace in the place that caused the greatest loss of his life.

Shot entirely on location across Berlin, Warum (German for “Why”) is a deeply personal short film exploring grief, remembrance, and the human search for meaning in the face of tragedy. The film draws on real memorial sites and the emotional landscape of a city shaped by loss.

Kelsey’s script for the film earned the prestigious Best Script award at the Great Northern Creative Festival 2017, recognised for its emotional restraint and powerful storytelling.
